(SanDiego.CityRegions.Com, September 28, 2015 ) Santee, CA -- Survival Hax has just announced that they've upgraded their water purifier to be a fully functional survival kit. The Portable Water Filter can now purify contaminated water at .1 microns, start fires, cut tinder, repair tents, and whistle for help.
Rick Canton, head of PR for Survival Hax says the new water filter allows their existing flag ship product to act as a full blown survival kit.
Bic Mitchem from Steamboat Springs, CO had the following to say. "This water filter handles grime and algae at a level most industrial filters use. And now they've added more options like a whistle and a fire starter. For someone like me, who is always trying to keep my pack light, this was a pretty big win."
The water filter uses a three stage method which is chemical free, BPA free, and chlorine free.
Rick Canton, inventor of the Survival Kit Water Filter said the following: "We used suggestions and feedback that were given to us from the community of survivalists, weekend campers, and preppers that subscribe to our blog. The new additions we made add a fire starter, whistle, 3.2 meters of paracord, a carabiner, and a knife. A portion of our readers are hunters, or military, and they asked for the green color because it doesn't stick out. Our aim here is to keep this filter as light as possible, while adding crucial life saving tools."
When asked what was next for the small survival company he replied by saying "We do what the community asks us to do, but I have a feeling we'll continue pursuing filtration and wearables."
