(SanDiego.CityRegions.Com, December 29, 2015 ) Santee, CA -- Survival Hax has just announced that they've developed a new way to filter water on the go. The Water Purifier Bottle, is a water bottle combined with a purifier straw that can clean contaminated water.
Founder of SurvivalHax.com, an eCommerce store for camping gear, and creator of the innovative Water Purifier Bottle has developed a BPA Free water bottle that holds 22 ounces water. A water filtration straw is then attached to the cap which uses coconut activated carbon to filter contaminated water down to .1 microns.
Carson Legro from Mesa, Arizona said, "Up until now, I only used a LifeStraw in my bug out bag, but I never took it with me on hikes because it seemed like more effort than it was worth. Don't get me wrong, those straw filters alone are great for emergencies, but the water bottle with filter allows you to fill up on the go, while your bottle cleans the dirty water you collect along the way. I love this invention."
According to Survival Hax, the Water Purifier Bottle was aimed at those who go on long hikes or backpacking trips where the chances of running out of water are very good. The water bottle with straw filter allows those people refill their water supply from lakes, rivers, creeks, and puddles.
Rick Canton, CEO of Survival Hax said the following: "While I created this bottle for the hard core hikers, I've noticed that a lot of preppers and survivalists love it too. Filtering water is one of the most important things to a prepper, and having a device like ours that can filter water, and store it is huge."
The Water Purifier Bottle is a water bottle that contains a filter straw which is detachable. The filter can clean contaminated water at .1 microns, remove 99.9% of waterborne bacteria, and will eliminate 99.9 airborne parasites.
The Water Purifier Bottle by Survival Hax replaces up to 1500 water bottles. Chemical free hollow-fiber UF membrane with coconut shell activated carbon creates a filtration method more efficient than the leading water bottle filter which can only remove contaminants down to .2 microns in size. A paracord travel strap was added for survival situations. The 6.5 inch strap can be unraveled to over 7 feet of usable parachute cord. Their website stated it was a nice feature for fixing busted bootlaces, mending torn tents, or tying up a dog.
The water bottle with filter straw will be available on the Survival Hax website, and on Amazon.com in 2016.
